Ladies
and Students
Thank you for visiting the Ladies Page. Christian Bulletin also features Vital Info, Fun Quips, and a Christian Treatise, where we speak of Christian subjects, and even society, culture and other religious and spiritual matters of
interest. Come again soon, ya'all!
Christian Bulletin speaks of Christianity, society, culture, religion.
Christian Bulletin also talks about the religious bulletin, the spirituality of different
people, along with their spiritual condition. God is also mentioned in Christian Bulletin,
along with Jesus, Jesus Christ or Christ himself. Psalms and Proverbs, along with the
church is spoken of by faith. Christian Bulletin includes worship and mention of Baptist
churches. Religious people don't mean to be too religious or seem too spiritual.

CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS
A Hymn
Drop, drop, slow tears
and bathe those beauteous feet,
Which brought from heaven
the news and Prince of peace:
Cease not, wet eyes,
his mercy to entreat;
To cry for vengeance
sin doth never cease:
In your deep floods
drown all my faults and fears;
Nor let his eye
see sin, but through my tears.
Phineas Fletcher 1582-1650
Holy Sonnets
At the round earth's imagined corners blow
Your trumpets, angels, and arise, arise
From death, you numberless infinities
Of souls, and to your scattered bodies go:
All whom the flood did, and fire shall o'erthrow,
All whom war, dearth, age, agues, tyrannies,
Despair, law, chance hath slain, and you whose eyes
Shall behold God and never taste death's woe.
But let them sleep, Lord, and me mourn a space,
For if above all these my sins abound,
Tis late to ask abundance of thy grace
When we are there. Here on this holy ground
Teach me how to repent; for that's as good
As if thou hadst sealed my pardon with thy blood.
John Donne 1572-1631
A Living Faith
I've dreamed many dreams that never came true;
I've seen them vanish at dawn.
But I've realized enough of my dreams, thank God,
To make me want to dream on.
I've prayed many prayers when no answer came,
Though I waited patient and long,
But answers have come to enough of my prayers
To make me keep praying on.
I've misled many a friend who failed
And left me to weep alone,
But I've found enough of my friends true blue
To make me keep trusting on.
I've sown many seeds that fell by the way
For the birds to feed upon,
But I've held enough golden sheaves in my hands
To make me keep sowing on.
Ive drained the cup of disappointment and pain
And gone many days without song,
But I've sipped enough nectar from the roses of life
To make me want to live on.

The Physician Wrote: "Incopability"
I heard about a man who had become so run-down and depressed that he felt he could no
longer face life. He supposed something was physically wrong, so he went to see his
doctor. The physician gave him a complete examination, including X-rays, blood tests and
an EKG.
When the man went back later for the report, he noticed that the doctor had written one
word on the diagnosis sheet: "Incopability." When he inquired about it, the
physician explained, "I have coined this word to describe patients with your
symptoms. Nothing is wrong with you physically, but you just can't seem to cope with life
anymore. I call this 'incopability.'"
We as Christians need not endure this malady. By taking hold of the resources of God's
presence and power, we can learn to be successful in overcoming the stresses of everyday
life. In II Corinthians 4, some of the pressures of the ministry are listed. At times Paul
was troubled (vs. 8), persecuted, cast down (vs. 9) and afflicted (vs. 17); yet he could
still be confident and did not lose heart, because he was renewed every day by the Spirit
of God who lived within him (vs. 16).
Perhaps you are a believer who sometimes feels that you just can't cope with life. The
renewal and refreshment for the "inward man" is also available to you. By
reading the Bible, fellow-shipping with Christians, seeking wise counsel, praying and
looking ahead to future glory, you can conquer "incopability." D. C.

Doing God's Job

Used with Permission
What's this world coming to
We hear somebody say
Those words are getting famous
We hear them every day
But if you'll just take a moment
To look around, you'll see
It's not the world that's changing
It's folks like you and me
There's people in the white house
That wants to change this land
But ONLY if it fits their needs
And not their fellowman
But of all the things through this world
That saddens me most to hear
Is all the big new clinics
That's spread both far and near
Where they can take a little life
Before it's ever born
No looking back,no second thought
No one to ever mourn
Another precious life is gone
It never had the chance
To look upon its mother's face
She had no backward glance
So many churches of today
Their doors flung open wide
But look around and you will see
That GOD is left outside
Some have gotten so corrupt
That Angels fear to trod
And it's all because we think that we
Can do the job for God
The moral of this story
Has a meaning sad but true
And we're all guilty of these things
Including ME and YOU
It's people that messed up this world
And it started way back when
We thought that we was smart enough
To do God's job for Him
